Welcome to my blog! My name is Maureen and I am currently taking classes in Communication Disorders & Sciences. My ultimate goal is to be a Speech Language Pathologist, either working with children (those on Autism Spectrum, those with developmental delays, or other articulatory or phonological disorders) or with adults (doing rehab for stroke victims, patients with traumatic brain injuries, etc). I have not decided yet because I have not entered a graduate program and would like to do internships/externships at different clinics/hospitals/within the school system to figure out my specialty!
When I'm not studying you can find me at work (as an Interventionist for children with developmental delays), at the beach, at the gym, cooking in the kitchen, catching up with family & friends, planning something and maybe squeezing in a power nap here and there.
